Viva la FRANCE!

Bonjour, guten tag, hello! I love traveling, and we do a lot of it. Recently we came back from a two day power trip to Paris, France. We went to The Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and a ton of other cool places around the city. Let the picture reel commence!!!

Day 1: The Drive

After a late breakfast of cinnamon rolls and an hour of packing, we began the five hour drive to Paris.

Weee!

Weee!

We had Mc Donald’s for dinner, (A real french delicacy! NOT) then went to bed.

Day 2: The Louvre

In the morning, we had a quick breakfast, then walked over to the metro. We bought tickets, and rode the underground train to The Louvre.

Meow.

Meow.

The line to get inside was ginormous! Thankfully we already bought tickets to go inside so we avoided a thirty minute wait. ;^)

BIG STATUE. little statue.

After drooling over the artwork for four hours, we bought sandwiches and some macaroons for lunch. Pistachio is my favorite flavor. ;^c]

Then we marched over to the Museum d’Orsay, where we saw more artwork.

Afterwards, we went back to the hotel, and crashed for the night.

Day 3: Ze Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dom!

After a huge breakfast at the hotel, we walked to the metro and rode over to Notre Dom! The line to go in, was GIGANTIC! but quick.

Can you guess what building this is?

Noteredom!

After getting lunch, we walked through the little shops that hung around the streets. There was some pretty cool stuff inside them, (mostly hats and shirts) and I almost bought a fancy scarf I found. Almost.

We then took the metro and walked over to the Eiffel Tower, and I took a lot of photos of it along the way.

Once we got there, we decided that the line to go up the tower was way too long, so we hung out underneath the tower, and got ice-cream.

Mmm.

Mmm.

We spent thirty more minutes wandering around, then hopped back onto the metro. We spent some time pillaging a bakery and grocery store before herding back to the hotel. While we were there, we got some macrons to eat with dinner. Let me tell you, they were HUGE!

It's almost as big as my hand! :^O

We had dinner, (we ate our macaroons first, then the sandwiches) watched some telly, took baths, then went to bed.

Day 4: Back Home

We got more groceries for the car ride, said goodbye to France (sadness) and drove back home. When we got home and finished unpacking, we vegged in front of the TV (AFV gets better by the season!) then went to bed.

I loved Paris, and I promise you, we will return! And once we run out of macaroons, (which will take a while since we bought a ton) I’ll share a recipe for how to make your own.

Green Tip

Before you leave for a big trip, unplug everything. Electronics that need a plug, even when turned off, still suck up energy. If you unplug them, you’ll be saving energy, and money.
